Since Today is September 11th, I wanted to pay tribute to all those who have lost their lives
and those who have lost loved ones 8 years ago today.
I didn't intend on this theme, until I started walking and saw many flags
flying throughout my neighborhood.
My theme in all these colleges is Red, White, and Blue, Flags and American Beauty. As for all the garbage cans, that was the first picture I took...they just looked so cool all lined at the curb. It had started raining during the beginning of my walk. But after my Motorcycle ride in the pouring rain with my husband, a walk in the rain was just fine. Flags were not hard to find...The young man in the bottom corner is my son, Douglas. I love the way this college came out. Nature and American Beauty at it's best.
I posted this college on my facebook page. I just thought it was appropriate for today.
My walk today was really good. The rain had stopped and the sun started to rise. My legs were a little achey but I pushed through that, and walked a little further today. I listened to my music and was lost in my thoughts. Before I knew it, I was back home. Monday Cindy and I have made a date to walk together. I am really looking forward to it.
Happy walking everyone...Will walk and post again tomorrow!

Beautiful thoughts, beautiful images. I hope to get out for a walk today, but am waiting for it to cool down. It's still in the 90s.
