Went westwards today to Castle Blutenburg.
With Bavaria being a former Kingdom, we have plenty of castles, pavillions & parks, mansions, hunting places and grounds.
The heat of Summer has been broken with a big thunderstorm two days ago, chilly nights and the fog lingering in the morning.
So I enjoyed being out and about. I realise already that I start walking differently, a bit more brisk, moving a bit more in the hips (the fitness factor I suppose ;-)) and it is fun taking more pic's along the way. This small mansion is a former hunting place which the king's son used for romantic moments. Its from the 13. century and built in late Bavarian Gothic style. Well, thats me for today. You guys have still the Sunday ahead of you - have a great one.

Oooh! Germany! So cool! I'm sure you have a lot to photograph. Not so much where I live. still, it will be nice to read about a different place for a bit.
Lovely photos by the way.
Paula, I'm glad you are enjoying your walks. It is so much fun seeing your pictures from Germany! The castle picture is great! I also love the picture of the stone sculpture covered with vines. Very pretty.
I can't wait to see more:)!
I must say, we don't have too many castles here to capture! I'm so glad you have joined us. It's such a treat to see something we don't get to see often.
I wouldn't mind seeing some inside shots of that lovely beast of a home. ;)
Great captures Paula!!
