Cindy - Florida 3:20-4:05 PM

Today was a lazy Sunday. So lazy that nobody in my family wanted to play:( I decided not to waste the day and took a Sunday drive to the beach, by myself. On my way there, the sky behind me was getting dark but ahead of me it was blue. I enjoyed the drive, turned up the music and sang out loud!:) One song in particular, "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain really had me going. Here's the song with the lyrics in case you feel like singing along too!

The picture on the left was what it looked like when I got there. 45 minutes later it looked like the picture on the right.

I saw many birds.

Nature is amazing! I was taking a picture of the white bird because I liked the way it contrasted with the seaweed. I did not even see the other birds until after I took this picture. They blended right in! Look closely there are probably more birds in this picture then you think.
It's after Labor Day but there is still a life guard on duty.

Here are a few more pictures from my beach walk today.

I love the beach. I especially love to walk on the beach. I think if I had to choose a favorite place to walk it would be the beach.

Where is your favorite walking spot?
I hope you had a chance to walk there today.:)

Right now I am so mad at myself. I was feeling bored this afternoon and was going to call you to see if you wanted to go for a walk. I really wish I did. I would have loved to go to the beach. OH well...next time I won't hesitate to call you.

Love the pictures, did you get your feet wet?

See you in the morning.

Darn, that would have been fun! Oh well, next time.
I took my sneakers off because it was high tide, no way of keeping my feet dry:)
I look forward to walking with you in the morning.

I would put beach photos on the top of my list! I think you have inspired me to try to hit the beach this week. ;) Just because summer is over, doesn't mean the beach won't be there!

Lovely photos. There's something about taking pictures of a lifeguard tower. We can't resist.

I'm glad you got to spend some quality time with...well, YOU. ;)
