Today Stephanie and I went on our Creatively Fit walk together! It was really nice having company!:) It was fun exploring Leu Gardens together. Although our walk was leisurely, we did cover a lot of ground. Our first stop was the rose garden. It was not in full bloom but there were still plenty of good picture opportunities. December is when it is really a show stopper! Here are some of my best rose shots . The photo on the right gives a partial view of the rose garden.
There were so many butterflies. As beautiful as butterflies are, you would think they would be eager to have their pictures taken. Instead they seem like they do whatever they can in order to not be photographed.
Here is a mix of interesting plants that we saw in the home demonstration garden. The pink tipped plant reminded me of flamingos!
This final collage consists of sculptures, other garden accessories and structures.
I really enjoyed our walk today! Thank you Stephanie! I hope we can do it again soon!
I hope everyone enjoyed their walk today too!
Until tomorrow!
Cindy

What a terrific place to walk. Glad the two of you had a great time.
Really looks like a great palce to walk! You showed a lot of patience with these butterfly pic's. A few weeks agao I had given up on them! Well, done.
I'm glad you two finally got your walk together. What a beautiful photo spot. Cindy, your butterflies are pretty. Are those Monarch butterflies? My favorite of your photos is the small pathway in the top right corner of the butterfly collage--so inviting.
Yes, those pink flowers DO look like little flamingoes.
A side note--Did you know that the plural of flamingo is flamingoES or flamingoS?
I came back to look for your flag stone and saw your foot. How funny. We were walking about the same time too (minus the 3 hr time difference). I imagine as I am standing there pointing my iPhone camera down at my feet in California, you were doing the same with your camera in Florida.
