MOM! The dog threw up in my room rings in my ears at 7:10 this morning. God Forbid my 15 yr old son gets some tissue and cleans it up. So with one eye open, I drag myself into his room with a box of baby wipes and a plastic bag to clean up the puke. As I make my way back to my room to go back to my comfy bed, Katrina (the dog) is huffing and puffing and pacing back and forth, so I figure she probably need to go out. So I thought to myself, perfect opportunity to start walking.
I changed my clothes, grabbed a pair of socks and my sneakers and headed down to the kitchen. Katrina is all excited she knows she is going out. I put my phone in one pocket and my camera in the other and of course took a doody bag, just in case and headed out the door.
I decided to walk just outside our community and behind some of the buildings. I never realized how may signs are posted everywhere. So my first group of pictures is of all the signs I saw during our walk.
It really did feel good to get out and walk early this morning even though it was very hot. I have gotten into a very bad habit of going to bed late and sleeping late in the morning. So being up early and having time for me to focus on me was real rewarding. I think tomorrow I will go without the dog, she needs to sniff and squat too much.
The landscaping wasn't too interesting, but we did see some crazy squirrels. Tomorrow I will take a more scenic route and try to have more interesting pictures. I have a feeling that this will be a lot of fun.
