Julie - North Carolina - 7:40-8:10 a.m.

Hi everybody! I'm Julie! I learned about Creatively Fit from Hayley, and I'm so excited to be here! I am NOT a morning person, so I felt like doing the victory dance when I got out of bed before anyone else in my house this morning (even though it still wasn't as early as I planned)!

I am doing these morning walks as much or more for my spiritual and mental health as I am for my physical health. I had a great time today just enjoying nature, talking to God, and observing things in the morning light. My pics today are pretty random, but three are all from one yard I passed that had dozens of little statues and things - it gave me such a big smile and made me appreciate that we're all different. It would never be my style to have a yard full of statues and stuff, but I loved looking at all these little happy things in someone else's yard.

Hayley and Cindy - what program are y'all using to make your collages? I don't know a good way to do them, so I'm just going to throw mine up here single-file today...

Sorry for all the talk (I won't always do this, I promise!)... here are my photos!

this one is my favorite!

Julie,
Welcome aboard!! It's so great to have you here:) I love your pictures. Don't you just love the elongated morning shadows!
We are using picasa, you can google it and download it to your computer. It's very easy. You can upload, edit, collage and upload directly to the blog.
Good Luck!
I look forward to seeing more of your pictures from your morning walks.
This is very exciting!
Have a great day!
Cindy

Wow Julie! Great captures! I am so delighted that you are on. I'm not home today, and was showing some friends our new site when I noticed that you and Mary joined us. Everyone in the pool thought I was nuts when I shouted, "Julie! Mary!" How exciting!

I love those little statues. I am also happy you included your shadow. Beautiful beautiful!! I hope you found the time was perfect for meditation and spending time with God. I know I do.

See you tomorrow?!

Hugs,
Hayley

Oh wow, these pictures are amazing! And this blog is such a creative idea... I love it!!! Definitely gets me thinking I need to get myself up early and get outside for some exercise (and push through the 90 degree+ temps even at 7am - oh well)

I love these! The one of the statue with the grass in front of it is pretty, and I love the stairs. I'm glad you're on the team : )
