Cindy - Florida 6:50-7:30 AM

Today I woke up invigorated! Today my family gets back to the land of the living! Hubby starts his new job this morning after 6 long months of unemployment. This job was not easy to come by but with persistence and perseverance he got it! So, today it's just the kids and me, which means I better get my butt out there before hubby goes to work.

I bought a book about walking yesterday at Ross for $4.99(it just jumped out at me, wasn't even looking for it). It even came with a pedometer! The book is, "The Complete Guide to Walking, for Health, Weight Loss and Fitness" by Mark Fenton. I looked through it quickly and one thing I picked up was that you should not measure distance but time. Set a time limit. For example, plan to walk 10 minutes in one direction than turn around and walk back 10 minutes in the other direction, for a 20 minute walk. I started at 6:50, turned around at 7:10 and arrived back home at 7:30 for a 40 minute walk. ( 20 minutes in each direction)
I tried to keep moving this morning for a brisk walk. I captured leaf varieties in this first collage.
Textures, patterns and looking through is the second collage.

Light, shadow and reflection is the third collage.

These were my two favorite pictures of the morning. I really like the way the morning sun illuminates the different surfaces.

Hayley and I are so excited that you have decided to join us.

At Creatively Fit comments are key. We all know how important comments are on our own blogs. They make us feel as if we have made a connection with others. Here, comments offer support and encouragement for all of the Creatively Fit teammates to continue to walk, click and connect! If you are a teammate please try to encourage all of your teammates with your comments. Comments do not have to be long, just a few simple words of encouragement is all it takes:) Let's cheer each other on!

I look forward to seeing your pictures today!

First and foremost, Yay hubby!!! Next, I love your pedometer shots. ;) The textures are fun and the light is beautiful. I'm motivated! How about you??

I love the second and third collages, they are really interesing. The pedometer seems like a good idea, on our walk today Mom was just saying we should get some.

Woo hoo for your husband! Good luck readjusting!
I'm so impressed and inspired by your themes... I thought of a few possible themes on my walk this morning, and realized I need a notebook to remember them in!

(P.S. - in case you didn't notice, a friend of mine left a comment on my first post asking to join the team! Betsy is an extremely talented photographer and sweet young lady who did some beautiful family photos for us earlier this summer. I'm so excited that she's going to join us!)
