Cindy - Florida 10:20-11:05 AM

As I continue to try and combine the last week of summer vacation with getting creatively fit, I chose another fun location for the kids and our walk. This is Lake Eola, located in downtown Orlando. We used to come here often when the kids were smaller. It's really a nice place to walk and hang out. There is a park and swan shape paddle (or is it peddle) boats. Things have changed a little since the last time we were here.
The collage below is a little theme of twos.
Here is the bird collage (mostly swans). Can you see the swan sitting on her eggs? It was so sweet. And I love the sleeping swan.
City life!- Three quarters of the way around the lake, my older son spotted a Publix. We went in for a drink at the water fountain. When the door opened a rush of cold air hit us. It was so refreshing. Sometimes I think I would love to live in a city atmosphere. Everything is in walking distance and there's so much energy (even in a small city like Orlando)

At the end of our walk the kids played in the park(something I haven't done with them in a long time.) It was fun to take pictures of them in action. I felt a little silly taking pictures of my big kids around all those moms of toddlers.:) Then we took a bag of stale bread over to the birds to feed them. The dirty pigeons come right up to you.(yuck) When we were done the kids chased the birds for a little more exercise. The kids had a ball, it was fun for me too!

I hope everyone is having a creatively fit day! I look forward to seeing more pictures!

Stephanie, We definitely should walk here together when the kids go back to school:)

Such a fun day with your kids. I really like the collages. I particularly enjoyed the one with the theme of "two".

Cindy, first and foremost, YOUR kids are totally as picture-worthy as the toddlers! I love every photo you take of them. I especially love how they get in on the action with you. It's nice when the cooperate.

Next, I miss Lake Eola. I really do. Both Crane's Roost and Lake Eola are definite perks of living in the Orlando area. They are beautiful places and the cost is quite a bonus!!

You are lucky you got away with your life. Swans can be right mean when they are protecting babies. I love all of your photos though.

Great job as always! Let me know when you, Stephanie, AND I are taking our Lake Eola walk! :)
