This morning I stepped out my front door all prepared to turn left, but turned right instead because these clouds caught my eye. They just looked so pretty. And after all the rain we got yesterday there was bound to be some mushrooms on the ground. So this college is white puffs in the sky and on the ground.
There were alot of squirrels out this morning darting up the trees, accross the streets, and into the grass. I tried to catch some of them in action. The photo to the left of the center is a bee on a flower and the bottom left photo is a nest of fire ants. The most annoying bug in Florida.
Haley, the picture of the leaf in the grass reminded me of you. I remember you saying you like heart shapped foliage.
I find my walks are getting faster, so I am going to have to increase my distance within the next few days. Today I had Billy Squire: Everybody wants you, Black Eyed Peas: Boom Boom Pow, and Boston blairing in my ears this morning. They are all upbeat songs that help me keep my step up. Have to walk with music. I really look forward to getting up early every morning to walk. I find my mood and energy level better throughout the day.
Soon Cindy and I will be able to walk a few days together. I can't wait.

Loved seeing your morning walk - especially those great cloud pictures. This is so cool to know that other women are out walking in the morning, also looking for things to share.
Magnficent heart leaf, Stephanie! We will need a collage of hearts one day. If I didn't mention it already in my post, I call them God's love notes.
I also love the brilliant leaf colors in the photo to the left of your heart leaf. And, the gnome spreading his hands up to me is priceless!
Great captures...and great music suggestions!!
Stephanie,
I love your white puffs in the sky and on the ground! Also love your shadow and heart shaped leaf. Maybe we should make a treasure hunt theme finding hearts in nature.:)
I can't wait for us to walk together too. (We're not counting the days). We may have to incorporate lunch into the routine every now and then. I saw some nice places down at Lake Eola.:)
