Cindy - Florida 10:00- 11:00AM and 12:00-1:00 PM

I am posting this as my walk today. I'm not sure this is what I have in mind when I think of a creatively fit walk. Normally, I wouldn't post this as my walk because the intention was not specifically to walk; however, I missed yesterday and I don't know if I will make it out again today. In any case, there was a lot of walking involved in today adventure. I chaperoned my son's second grade class on their trip to the zoo.

We arrived at the zoo at 10:00. The students were given clipboards and worksheets to do some detective work. We walked from exhibit to exhibit answering the questions. I've blurred the faces of Noah's classmates to protect their privacy. Can you tell they were having fun!? We walked around the zoo from 10:00-11:00. Classroom work was from 11:00-11:30. Lunch was 11:30-12:00.

More walking from 12:00-1:00. And back to school by 1:30.

I love this series of pictures. The kids were so well behaved:) My son is such a little bohemian, he loves to wear black(?) I guess he takes after his mom and dad.

The zoo is a great place to walk! If you are not on a class trip you can do a few brisk laps around the zoo and enjoy the scenery at the same time(great for pictures) See Hayley's zoo walk here.

It may even be worth it to have a year long membership to the zoo, so you can make it a regular walking spot!

Did you walk someplace different today?
Remember all walking is good walking!

I love your post! Great animal shots! It makes me want to renew my membership to the zoo. If you got one, and I got one, could we use them at each of our zoos?

Looks like we both pointed out our "little bohemians" today! Very funny.

I wanted to scroll back up and comment on more, but I clicked out of the post entirely...hmmm..let's see...from memory, I loved the porcupine, the birds, and Noah's extreme concentration!

I'm glad you had a nice time. I miss the field trips, but I have them to look forward to in Nicholas's future...uggg...school hasn't even BEGUN!

Great zoo shots. I also particularly like the collage of the kids. They are so involved with what they are doing.

While I was on vacation I took a picture - in honor of your blog...
