Cindy - Florida

Shana Tova
"A Good Year"

Today was a full day! We celebrated the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. Much of the walking I did today was broken up into several walks with Lucy.
It was nice spending time with family and catching up.

The pictures below are of Lucy and a tree that reminded me a lot of Lucy. It must have been all the white and red patches!:)

(This post is short because I wrote a whole other post in picasa and just as I was posting it, the computer lost its connection and the post was erased. I don't have the patience tonight to repeat the whole post, so this will have to do.)

I saw a commercial for these new sneakers, by Sketchers, that I thought sounded interesting. They are called Shape-Ups. Shape up while you walk! Designed to: Promote Weight loss, Tone Muscles, Improve Posture and Reduce Stress on knees and ankles. You can find out more about them here. Warning: You may get sticker shock, I did!

I hope everyone had a great day!
Keep walking!
Cindy

Shana Tova Umetukah, Cindy!

I'm glad you had a lovely, full day. What an interesting tree you captured! I've never seen a red tree, and it does look like Lucy.

I too have seen the new Sketcher shoe. I was so excited--a must have! That is, until Jenny said she would never walk with me again if she had to be seen with me in those shoes. :(

I don't think they look that bad. I'm all for the "shaping up!"

Thank you
I don't think the sneakers look that much different than what's out there. They look a little chunky but the shoes I see kids wearing today look enormous on their feet, especially the skaters.
Anyway, it's hard to tell in the picture,I'd have to see them in person.

Hope you had a enjoyable celebrion with your family. That tree is such so awesome. Do you know what kind of tree it is -question from the other side of the pond :-)) Yepp, these scetchers are getting promoted heavily here in Germany - want them too..

Thanks for your comments!
Paula, that tree is a mature crepe myrtle, very common here.
