Stephanie - Florida

Today I walked in a different direction and the clouds caught my eye again. Today they were darker, and more mysterious. The sun kept hiding behind the clouds and trees. I had Journey on the Ipod today, but I did feel a little more tired than usual. Must be from all the shopping yesterday with my son Douglas who is nursing a healing broken foot.
The leaf photo is for Haley...Every time I see one I have to take a picture. This dragonfly was flying around my front door then landed on my palm tree. He let me get close enough to take a picture. I was very surprised. Pretty amazing creature up close.
My neighborhood is home to many hawks. These 2 seemed to be having fun by the lake. The one on the sign stayed there for a long time, but the one on the ground flew away several time. They are very pretty birds, but also look very serious. I guess it may have been feeding time for them.
Well today is the Mother in Laws birthday...I will be cooking her a roast beef dinner and having a carvel cake for dessert. I think I may just relax by the pool for a while, or I can clean the house and relax tomorrow, while the kids are in school.

Tomorrow I think I will try to walk between the kids busses. High School bus picks up kids at 6:45 am. Reality Check for my 15 yr. old. May have to put off walking with Cindy until next week. We have 3 early morning Dr. appts this week.

Happy Walking Everyone!
Stay Tuned...

Great pictures Stephanie!! I wanted to get up early today, but I overslept. I mean, I really overslept. Woke up at 10:00. This may be the first time in YEARS.

I adore the dragonfly collage. He looks happy to pose for the paparazzi. My favorite collage, however, is the sky! Wow! I am so impressed with your photos.

School doesn't start until Tuesday around here, so Jenny and I may have only two more days to walk together--until the time changes. She'll be up with Nicholas--yours, not mine! ;)

Dragon flies, hawks, lakes...what a great neighborhood to walk. I see garage sales in my neighborhood. They're fun but hawks...wow.

I love the clouds collage. They're so dramatic. I am so enjoying seeing your walks. You all inspire me to get out of my neighborhood to walk.
