Lisa -- Pennsylvania An Impromtu walk

My name is Lisa and I normally blog at Boondock Ramblings.

This is my first post with Creatively Fit so bear with me, please.

I’ve been trying to take more walks now that I’m on Weight Watchers. It
is a challenge for me because when I go I have to take my 2-year old
with me, since my husband is at work in the evenings and during the day
I am at work.

Sunday night Jonathan and I took an impromptu walk after his daddy
decided to take the dog for a walk. The departure of daddy sent Jonathan
into a breakdown so we decided we would take a walk of our own and see
if we ran into daddy anywhere.

We didn’t see Hubby, but we did see a leaf already turned yellow (and
it’s only August!):

And a flower sitting alone outside a fence:

Then there was Jonathan picking up acorns and throwing them:

All in all the walk was a nice one. I’m hoping to keep these walks up
three times a week. I’m not sure I’ll blog about each and every walk,
but hopefully I can blog and share some photos at the end of each week.

You and Jonathan found some beautiful pictures - the leaf and the purple flower - and you found a fabulous picture of Jonathan. So glad you've joined. (I'm alarmed to see leaves changing colors already here in Indiana. Is it going to be an early winter?)

Leaves are changing colour here in Alberta too -- maybe it's going to be an early winter in North America!
Have you ever thought of getting a little kangaroo backpack pouch kinda dealy so that Jonathan could ride on your back while you walk? ;D Just an idea!
I love that leaf, btw!

Lisa Thank you so much for joining Creatively Fit! Lovely pictures!
Three days a week sounds like a good routine. I look forward to seeing more pictures from Pennsylvania!

Lisa! I am so glad you are here. I too will have to walk with my two-year-old in a few weeks (when my teen goes back to school). Perhaps by then you will be a pro at this and you can offer hints and tips.

I love your photo of the changing leaf, and I'm glad Jonathan found something to occupy his time as well. :)

Welcome! We are so glad to have you here!

Hi Lisa! So nice to meet you! I have a 2-year-old boy as well... So far all but one of my walks have been solo, but once we start having to take my 5-year-old to Kindergarten (!!!!!!!) in a couple of weeks (!!!!) I will probably have start walking after school drop-off with little guy in the stroller. Anyway, I really love the leaf picture too. Fall is my favorite time of year, and I am pretty much ready for it to be here NOW! ;)

I love these photos. I love how you transformed Jonathan's "breakdown" into a walk and creative moment for both of you. (Yes I think turning acorns into a ball is very creative too.) I look forward to seeing more of your walks.
