This morning I was in a fog - literally!
The views from my front porch and looking down my street... (Normally it would be no problem to see the end of the street. It was just slightly clearer by the time I ended my walk.)
I didn't realize there were this many spiderwebs in my bushes until I saw them covered in water droplets! Crazy!
I'm sad that the photo of the signs ended up out of focus, but I wanted to share it anyway because it was cool to see the row of signs disappearing into the fog. I thought the tree was strange - so full at the bottom and so sparse at the top.
This was a scary thing to see in a tree... Fortunately, it appeared to be uninhabited!
Look very closely and you'll see a flock of geese flying over the treetops and and away into the foggy morning.
Keep it up, lovely ladies! (We have a lot of rain in our forecast so I'm not sure how many walks I'll get in, but I'm going to do my best!)

Julie what wonderful pictures! It's actually really nice to see the fog. It's a nice change from all the sunshine.:)
The last picture of the geese reminds me of the movie "The Birds" very eerie. The spider webs and hive or nest(?) look pretty spooky too. It's almost like an early Halloween post.
I'm really enjoying your N.C. pictures. Sometimes I think that's where I'd like to live.
Julie, I love these shots. The fog is so magical in a way. I can see where you were going with the signs...very nice. The hive is a neat photo--what a find!
Speaking of rain, I am writing from my back porch as thunder and lightening practically crack in my lap. I'm glad I didn't put off my walk until this afternoon, or I would be very very wet.
Great shots, once again!!
I like your foggy pictures too. It does give them a special, soft quality and I thought the picture with the webs in the shrubs was especially interesting!
Julie Great pictures. I remember growing up on Long Island we had those low pines on the corner of our house and in the mornings going to the bus stop I would see all the webs. Brings back great memories. I love the deer too. We see them sometimes down here in Florida. I will have to try to get some pictures of the Florida favorite... Alligator! Thanks for sharing.
