Cindy - Florida 11:10 AM-12:00 PM

Today's walk had to be moved to a later time. I took my boys to a local park called Crane's Roost. I used to take them for walks around this lake when they were little. There have been major renovations done here. This is popular gathering place for fireworks and free concerts. We are very lucky to have a place like this to go to so nearby. The only draw back to walking and taking pictures at a place like this is that there may be too many distractions for a vigorous walk. But we did manage to work up a sweat and walked around the lake one and a half times.

The ducks were so funny, they thought we had bread so they greeted us with open beaks. We felt bad that we didn't come prepared. We also saw a snake bird up close, drying his wings in the sun.
There was also a hidden sculpture garden. Can you pick out the real children? (Ok that's an easy one)

The boys were on the move and having fun!
There were way too many picture opportunities! Sorry for all the pictures it was hard to edit this one.

My 7 year old took these two pictures. I think they were the best of the day!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Oh how I miss that park! Nicholas would be in Heaven! Are you sure the ducks weren't just trying to scare off the paparazzi? You got some terrific shots...I think next time you owe them bread. I love the first collage--the neutrals and shapes are very pleasing. We'll have to go there next time we come into town!
